THE FOUR VIDEOS
FBI-UAP-PR001, "Triangle Orbs" (November 2021, about 5:00 a.m.): an eyewitness filming a bright light near the horizon at an estimated 2,000 feet, hand-held on an iPhone 12 Pro, saw it resolve from one intense light into several that rotated erratically relative to each other while drifting left to right. FBI-UAP-PR002, "Red Orb Rotation" (March 2022, about 7:20 p.m.): two bright red lights near the horizon at an estimated 2,500 feet, mostly stationary and silent, the lower one appearing to rotate slowly relative to the upper from a 6 o'clock position to slightly past 9 o'clock. FBI-UAP-PR003, "Orbs Over the Pond" (October 2024, about 6:51 p.m.): a "plasma-like sphere" over a pond at an estimated 2,700 feet that changed shape and brightness, at times separating into smaller points, with a point below it hovering just above the water that did not look like a reflection; it stayed roughly in place for about 45 minutes. FBI-UAP-PR004, "Northeastern Orb Sighting" (July 2025, about 9:00 p.m.): two witnesses in a backyard saw a hovering light about 25 feet up and 90 feet away, which the second witness called a "brilliant red sphere" about a meter across with a white center, and a second identical orb above it; the pair moved west together and appeared to merge.
WHAT THE FBI SAYS
For PR001 to PR003 the FBI assesses the eyewitness as "highly credible," and for PR004 the two witnesses as "credible." The descriptions come from statements the witnesses gave the bureau. For PR003, a video recorded by a private citizen, the record says it was "analyzed and authenticated by the U.S. Government" and cropped only to protect the individual's privacy, with no edits, enhancements or alterations to the visual content. For PR004 the record notes the sighting occurred within 25 miles of the other three.
THE FBI RECORDS BEHIND THEM
Release 03 published the bureau's working papers beside the videos. FBI-UAP-D004 through D008 are FD-1057 forms, the FBI's standard record of investigative activity: a contact in October 2024 at which special agents collected video and information, an October 2024 interview about incidents over the previous three years, a November 2024 site survey, first-hand observations by two FBI special agents in November 2024, and a December 2024 site survey of the place where those agents had seen unidentified phenomena. The 2025 sighting has its own records, FBI-UAP-D009 and D010.
HOW THEY DIFFER FROM THE REST OF THE RECORD
Most PURSUE video is military sensor footage described by AARO in flat language. These are phone videos with the witness's own account attached and an FBI credibility assessment, so the descriptions carry the witnesses' estimates of distance, size and motion, not measurements. The orbs have no recorded identification. The record gives witness statements and the bureau's work; it does not give a conclusion about what the objects were.
