THREE INCIDENTS, ONE YEAR
The largest thread is "Multiple Red Lights": three incidents inside a single five hour window, described independently by two witnesses in separate FBI interviews, one in person and one by telephone, with four digital renderings prepared from their descriptions. A second thread, "Slow-moving Objects," comes from an FBI Special Agent's own 2026 interview describing an incident around 4:00 PM local time; footage the agent captured by hand-held thermal imaging device accompanies the file, showing two slow-moving "black-hot" areas of contrast against the infrared background. A third, "Thermally Elevated Aerial Object," is a separate FBI Special Agent's 2026 account of an incident around 9:00 PM local time, described in an interview but with no accompanying imagery.
WHEN THE WITNESS WEARS A BADGE
What separates this cluster from most of the PURSUE archive is who is doing the reporting. Two of the three incidents come from FBI Special Agents describing what they personally observed while on duty, not from a member of the public routed through a tip line. The Bureau recorded their accounts on the same FD-302 interview form it uses for any other witness, and released them the same way: first-hand description, an accompanying rendering or recording where one exists, and no assessment of what the object was.
THE RECORD, STILL BEING WRITTEN
Every other page on this site describes something that happened years or decades ago. This cluster did not: the earliest of these interviews was still fresh when it was published August 7, 2026 as part of PURSUE Release 05. It is a reminder that PURSUE is not only an archive of Cold War paper, it is also where this year's reports eventually surface.
